BusssyWizard: I cannot recommend this class enough. 🫀 AncillaL is a wonderfully eloquent presenter who puts forth the information clearly and succinctly in a way that leaves no room for BSing about, yet does so with a sense of humor that makes tough and uncomfortable topics easier to navigate. This class offers a truly nuanced and compassionate exploration of CNC for both Tops and bottoms. It will make you ask yourself some questions that might kick your ass a little… But AncillaL did a great job of making the space a comfortable and non-judgemental one. Very impressed with the sheer amount and depth of the content covered for an exceptionally reasonable class price. Thank you for keeping kink education accessible!
Mockingbird: I really enjoyed your class on CNC! You helped give me broader perspective on the topic, answered a lot of questions I’d held in my head during your presentation, and you made the topic accessible without making it so palatable that the meaning of it and the inherent safety risks were not “explained away” or dismissed in any way. I’m going to repeat it here and not just in direct feedback to you, but your speaking cadence was fast enough to hold my attention without my mind having unwanted opportunities to wander, and there was a lot of flavor added with humor, relatable examples, serious talk about hazards with inexperienced or overly self-centered people. Ancilla was prepared with an engaging power point which she utilized effectively to communicate the information in a paced and clear manner. I found myself reaching inside to understand the information on a personal level, then laughing along with the class at a light hearted moment, before diving back into my soul to apply the information. I could have used a break, but I didn’t want to step away.

I really enjoy your delivery style – you’re knowledgeable and engaging, and the cartoons and offscript comments are super funny. The class today was particularly rich in all aspects. FemmeDLore: This was my first class with Ancilla, and I’m so glad I attended. The session covered a wide scope of info, and Ancilla broke down complex concepts around trauma and its intersection with fetishism in a way that felt both inclusive and accessible, no matter your background. I loved the use of case studies as they made the theory more concrete and highlighted the complex and nuanced ways that trauma can manifest. It’s a huge topic, and Ancilla definitely did it justice. VioletHeart: Ancilla’s rape play class was detailed and extremely well organized. I find that many presenters have a tendency to wax philosophic and wander away from the topic at hand frequently throughout their presentations, but I was very impressed that Ancilla did not do that once the entire time. She stayed on point with admirable precision.
I love Ancilla’s academic sensibilities, and this definitely enhanced the presentation. Sexuality and kink are often treated as fun diversions that shouldn’t be discussed too scientifically, but I heartily disagree! Distilling these topics down in a granular manner allows us to analyze every aspect critically and determine how we can approach these play styles as safely and sanely as possible and tailor our play in ways that work for ourselves and our partners. Luckily, Ancilla is really good at that!
I especially appreciated the admonition to discuss during negotiation the possibility of actual consent violation during play and how that might be addressed if it happens. I had a personal experience of this sort and, in hindsight, I wish we had done what Ancilla suggested beforehand. I will definitely be adding it to my negotiation list for future play!
Ancilla mentioned herself that she tends to talk a bit fast, and I did notice that. I missed a few words here and there. As a recovering fast talker myself, I understand this challenge particularly well. So the only piece of feedback I would give would be to try to slow down a bit. Thank you for offering such an informative and enjoyable class!

Nush: It was a wonderful class. I really liked the way everything was structured. As a newbie, a lot of times, experiences are just mush in my head and I attend your classes and the way you structure them helps me organise and make sense of my experiences in this space. Everything from definitions of subspace/domspace (I’ll also just call it space going forward), to neurotransmitters/neurobiological stuff to managing stuff to negotiating and involving partners, it was all such a thorough and well thought out explanation of everything. I also appreciate the balance between information heavy technical details and lived experiences and I really like how you bring in little bits of experience as examples etc. This goes for all your classes I’ve attended so far actually, but they’ve always left me with new ways of looking at and making sense of stuff and in a space where that can be overwhelming, it’s much appreciated. QuirkyButterfly: I came to class thinking – today I’ll learn about Emotional Sadomasochism. Jeez, was I in for a surprise! Here’s a rundown of my experience:
- S/M and Emo S/M are not what I thought they were!!
- Insights into my own relationship with emotions – pleasurable and painful – also not try and box them in those categories
- Deeper Insights into why someone might want to be S/M
- Some structure – without bounds – of what I might want to learn/do to get in touch with what I want.
Overall, loved the class!
Would I join again for another live class? Absolutely, yes, whenever I can!
- You get to see Ancilla’s lovely face and gestures and to try not to get distracted by her on video while taking in all of the rich insights and examples and anecdotes she gives!
- You get to enjoy the lovely energy in the room of Ancilla and everyone who’s come for the class!
Given a choice, I’d love to attend Ancilla’s in-person workshops whenever possible, though. There’s an interactivity in them which is difficult to build up to in an online class.

Lovelyday: The breadth of topics could span a 2-day workshop. I appreciate the analysis and insights, particularly providing a lens on the “why” of our desires, which I find are often lacking or restricted to vague comments on “religious (i.e. christian)” upbringings in kink workshops led by white people here in the US. I would say the prompts and interactive pieces could be broken down into smaller chunks because they probe such large topics, particularly the one on shame or intense emotions and acts. I also wonder if this workshop could be adapted for a couple to take together. I think that could be quite powerful, a la a deeper version of those “25 qs to ask your spouse to deepen your relationship,” except a kink version that is rooted in this sort of ethos around sexuality and embodiment. Realizing this may not be helpful as a review. . anyway it was great, thought-provoking, generous and expansive too. I loved the differentiation between porn and eroticism– something that rarely is discussed in a real way.

Saralyn: This was an amazing class, excellent for everyone from those just curious about masochism to those with many years in the scene and the leather butts to prove it! She defined masochism early in the class (hint, it’s broader than the dictionary’s version) and so no prior experience in the scene would be required to understand the material. I’m not a sadist, but I would recommend it to them as well, since this class would enables a richer, more complete understanding of the wide range of motivations masochists have; I believe this understanding would help sadists better solicit (and understand) their masochistic partner’s specific reasons and that would in turn enable them to craft better, more fulfilling scenes to meet those desires.AncillaL provided phenomenal communication prior to, during, and after the class: I received the link to the class 2 days ahead of time and the class notes about 20 mins before the class was scheduled to start.
- The advance copy of notes allowed me to optimize my window arrangement permitting simultaneous viewing of her, her slides, and the notes and then easily jot down my additional in-class notes within her document.
- Her pace of talking was just right for me, thanks to the pre-typed notes; it would have been too fast if I’d felt the need to take detailed notes, but her approach maximized the amount of information that could be relayed while permitting me to think about what was being said.
- I haven’t tried to listen to it yet, but the notes, slides, and audio file were uploaded to her Patreon within a few hours of the class ending!

ShubnamJaan: I had a lovely time last night! The venue was perfect for the number of people who turned up. It was contained and cozy (as opposed to sprawled out or interspersed with large furniture that breaks up the crowd into smaller groups), which made it easier to float around and interact with different groups of people. While it took some time adjust to not having the usual playlist play in the background, some initial moments of silence felt a bit awkward (as I had just turned up around then, late, as usual 🙈). But it turned out the floor was relaying live music from upstairs. The first singer was a bit blah, but the second guy was good. It was a nice ambience of someone singing in the background, while the volume was low enough to enable free flowing conversations (instead of repeatedly asking people to repeat what they say, and shoving my ear into their mouths). I actually met several new people this time, and had some very engaging conversations. Stuck around till 12, well after the munch was officially over. All in all, had a great time. Kudos to @zenora_ and @TiaraGirl for making this happen! 💜 And @AncillaL you were very much missed 🥺 PS: While leaving, I accidentally stole someone’s pack of cigarettes last night. Usme do hi bache the. But still, sincerest apologies about for the unintended error! 😬

Once again a thoroughly vetted, informed and interested in active enrichment group of kinksters brought together by AKS. The woman and bottom-led-ness that AKS claims to bring to kink, was evident in every moment of the workshop. From references cited to the examples given, the masochist perspective was the highlight of this Effective Sadism 101 class. Professors @AncillaL and @MAncilla were at the top of their teaching game, per usual. Amidst anecdotes and leg pulling- both literal and figurative, they devolved into the mindset and skill set of a sadist. The coming to terms with being a sadist- was an eye opener. As was realising the sadists’ inability to ever be able to truly grasp the multilayered relationship masochists have with pain. Such a crucial detail, which if overlooked while processing and planning a scene, can harm much more than just skin and bones. The human anatomy and its awareness’s never ending significance was highlighted repeatedly. Which implement? Where? Where not? Why not? And the escalation techniques were 🤌🏽🤌🏽Another crowd favourite that drew oohs and aaahs were the pressure points. And like always, there were books! So many more books 🤤 🤩 Thank you for a wonderful event. Looking forward to the next one.

This one reminded me that I consistently find really amazing, interesting and kind-hearted people anywhere in the world when I seek out responsible/ethical kinksters, especially those desiring to advance their skills and knowledge. The class was well-organized, with what I found to be a great balance of class presentation, demo (watching), demo (opportunity for class participants to experience sharps themselves), hands-on practice (for most of us, just on oranges!), and social time. The needed materials were included and ready for us, along with class notes. I wish all classes were taught by a skilled Top/bottom (or D/s, M/s, etc) — AncillaL and Mancilla each brought certain information to the presentation that was specific to their role. I think it’s really helpful for Tops to have bottom perspective, and for bottoms to understand more about Top perspective. It fosters better communication and negotiation.”

A class designed for women that goes deeper than general tips and ambiguity to teach how predators operate, how they can be classified, how the classification helps to identify and deal with each type of predator.

No refunds will be made if a person fails to show up to a class and does not notify the organiser at least 48 hours in advance.
If you wish to cancel a class and avail a refund, you must do so at least 48-hours before the class begins or no refunds will be offered. The organiser is not responsible for your failure to learn from the class and your inability to understand the course material, no refunds will be offered in such a case. Any cancellation on behalf of the organiser will be refunded in full.
